- Canadian Broadcasting Institute says, the French-language television broke the rules and have to apologize for running joke that is called U.S. President Barack Obama easily killed because black and live in the White House.
Commission on Radio-Television and Telecommunications Canada (CRTC), Monday (31 / 8), admitted receiving 250 complaints following the New Year's Eve show in 2009 by Radio-Canada that show funny stories about Obama. Radio-Canada is the French-language broadcasters, under the banner of the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. (CBC).
Canadian Broadcast Standards Board issued a reprimand to the Radio-Canada and the CRTC follow up. CBC was ordered to apologize to viewers and guaranteed not to repeat the act.
In the footage, a comedian in an interview that Obama would easily be a target. "It would be easy. Black in white. Will be easy to aim," said the comedian.
